Horrible Customer Service. Great food, but horrible service.I called in to place a to-go order and the guy that answered the phone acted as though he did not want to answer any of my questions concerning the meals and deals. They need someone answering the phone that has a little more patients, because if I have to receive attitude just for asking a questions, I WILL NOT BUY HERE ANYMORE!
I am in Tuscaloosa, Al just to visit for a short time &&I am from the Midwest. ..I ordered Fried Oysters with a side order of Hush Puppies &&Fried Mushrooms on the side. ..where I am from the Fried Oysters are way bigger &&fresher than the Sharks on 15th street. ..the Fried Mushroom tasted exactly like the one’s I bought from Walmart a few months ago. ..therefore they were pre-breaded &&totally not fresh. ..they actually tasted weird. ..the Hush Puppies were also small &&was hard at the same time. ..I have never received such ridiculous serving of food before in my life. ..&&the customer service was so poor &&hard to believe that it even existed. ..I was shocked because ppl up north think ppl in the south have amazing hospitality–the lies! the Cashier had got an attitude with me over the phone as I was making my order as well as when I returned there since he got my order wrong the first time. ..instead of being friendly, he told that they were not going to fix anything tomorrow, but if I wanted to come back tonight, I could, so that they could ‘fix’ my order. ..b.s. ..they did ‘not’ fix anything. ..all they did was gave me a few more itsy bitsy oysters in a smaller box. ..there was only two workers there, &&they were both males. ..honestly, my bread &&seafood sauce was better than my meal altogether.I vow to never return.
Good, but… Definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. Fried everything from chicken breasts to chicken gullets. Definitely had some heart burn for the night, but it was well worth it!

Thought it was going to be better than I expected- ordered 10 deep fried oyster meal and a kids chicken nugget meal for my child. What I got was a super salty meal- I must have had three oysters and thought nope- it’s the batter. After another maybe two attempts- I stopped- I couldn’t have another bite in fear my feet and hands would suffer!!!! At this point- my child offered me a nugget- same thing… Super salty!!!!! So I stopped him in his tracks and instead…. You guessed it. Mickey D’s.
WOAH. This place is mind-blowing. I have dragged all of my friends here and they’ve loved it. Everything is fried and in huge portions and it’s awesome.Extremely casual atmosphere, I’ll leave it at that.I’m torn between wanting everyone to know how great this place is and wanting it to stay a secret!
Inexpensive fried seafood & chicken cooked fresh to order. Granted, everything is pre breaded frozen but they stay busy & therefore fresher than most places in town. Fried menu items to choose from: Catfish, trout, whiting, tilapia, whole & butterflied shrimp, & oysters. Chicken items include: tenders, whole wings, buffalo wings (honey mustard, BBQ or spicy hot), gizzards and livers. Sides include french fries, fried okra, fried green tomatoes, & onion rings. Ambiance lacking, the kitchen can be seen & is kept sanitary. Take-out is available. Family friendly.
