I went with my family a while back and needless to say, we were far from impressed. We waited forever for a server despite there being only two other tables. Between us, we had the lasagna, chicken sorrentino and the carbonara. The lasagna was bland, boring, and the noodle sheets were tough. The eggplant on the sorentino was dull and lifeless. It tasted like it had been frozen for way too long. The carbonara, my dish would have been fine, seeing as it is a basic Italian dish, but whoever cooked it didn’t know what they were doing because the egg in my dish had scrambled/clotted. Overall, if you want decent and somewhat authentic Italian food, go to DePalmas the next block over. Don’t waste your time or money here.

I keep trying to like this place, but every time I come I am disappointed. It’s such a quaint space with such potential. But the service is slow, the waitstaff unprofessional, and the food mediocre. The menu is boring and the taste reflects that. Pancakes were doughy and eggs watery. Need I say more?

Ordered a Cuban sandwich for lunch. The sandwich was really small, the bun was stale and tough like beef jerky. There was no pulled pork on the sandwich and when I pointed it out, they took my sandwich with a bite already missing from half and put some cold chopped pork on the same bun with a bite missing and sent it back cold. The only thing I tasted on the sandwich was mustard because that was the most abundant ingredient. The fries looked good and cooked well, however, they were hard as a brick. I’ve seen better from this place, but every time I go back, it gets worse.
