To me this place is just ok. It is quick and the food seemed fresh, but nothing makes it stand out. The staff was friendly, so that is a plus.
I have only ever been to Taco Mama for the nachos so my review may be skewed BUT the nachos were awesome. I also pile them high will tons of toppings (you have amillion choices). Plus the drink specials are always a bonus!
We love this food! Everything taste so fresh! The nachos and the burrito bowl are two of our favorites. They have a large selection of toppings and ingredients to choose from. If you don’t like designing your own dish, they have regular menu items as well. The Judge is our favorite. Try the pomegranate margaritas they’re delicious!
I have had the vegetarian tacos and quesadilla, both were delicious and generously portioned. The watermelon margarita was excellent, as well. The atmosphere is friendly, the music is great, and they open up the front of the restaurant in warm weather. Definitely one of the better choices for a casual lunch or dinner in downtown Tuscaloosa.
Mediocre at best. Great atmosphere. The food is bland, had no flavor at all. Safe to say that I won’t be a return customer.
You can add all toppings for free which is nice, food was good and margarita selection looks awesome, the vibe is also really cool and they are very fast. Especially considering we went on a Saturday afternoon the day after graduation in Tuscaloosa. Butttt, burrito was half cold and all the cheese was on the cold side and didn’t melt, I’m hoping this was just an assembly fluke, I would definitely go again.
Every time I’ve been to Taco Mama the food has been very good. I’ve been pleased with each visit. The drinks are great as well.
