We have dined at the University Club for decades. The food is always wonderful and the staff is extremely professional. We’re sorry they don’t serve dinner anymore but love the lunches, especially on Sunday. For some the selection may seem limited, but what they offer is always top quality. Just last Friday we had an excellent blackened talapia that was the stuff of dreams. The atmosphere is REAL, there is absolutley nothing phony or contrived about the place. We always feel comfortable and welcome as if we are guests in the home of dear, but elegant and wealthy, friends. It is everything it appears to be. You are dining in history when you go to the University Club.

Great mash potatoes, delicious meat though I don’t know if it was pork butt or roast (strange being that I am a caterer), and the miniture cheesecakes were a delight.Perfect venue for the meat and potato crowd. Full of Southern charm.
