Going down hill. So disappointing food is not the same, but the price is.
Ripoff!. My boyfriend and I had the chance to go so we drove from Tallassee to get away from the 2 restaurants the town has, but we should have stayed. The only good thing I can say is that the fried mushrooms for the appetizer was good, my boyfriends crown and coke was stout. And our server was very polite. But the rolls came out cold with cold butter so you couldn’t spread it, the salad was a joke, and my $20 five pepper chicken Alfredo was the blandest meal I’ve ever had in a restaurant. My boyfriends herb chicken had an ok taste but not for $20 a plate ( and it’s one of the cheapest meals on the menu) we were very unsatisfied and I wanted to laugh at the owner for bragging about being in the news and some magazines. For only being open 2 days a week you would think he could prepare something that I didn’t have to cover in black pepper to taste it. You are way better off going to a gas station for food.
Best food in the area!. You can’t go wrong with the food, atmosphere and service at Our Place. Best dining experience we’ve had in a long time.

Too Many Negatives to be Enjoyable. I’ve only been here once, but my experience was completely ruined. First we were seated by the drink station upstairs, which was fine, but the servers were bickering back and forth about who would take what table. They should already have a system in place for servers so this doesn’t happen as it ruined the lovely ambiance. Second, I ordered a glass of house wine but I could tell by the taste it had been open for a while and had gone flat. I told the server and she asked if I wanted another glass but I just asked for a different brand, which was much better. Third, I ordered the special of the night: red snapper. I was halfway through my piece of fish when I started pulling scales out of my mouth. Now I know this restaurant is nice so they should have a chef that knows how to properly remove all scales and check to make sure they were all gone. Lastly, the prices were absurd! My entree, fish scales and all, was $30 and my glass of wine was $11. Needless to say I will definitely not be going back there.
Wonderful. If I had one last meal to eat, I would eat it here. Enough said!
