I had heard of The Abby but had not made it down there yet. Then COFFEE FEST and I had a few sips of their Lavender Cream Iced Coffee and I was hooked. I had to visit then, and go back. :)The place is spotless, very friendly, delicious and welcomes EVERYONE, Check out the hours on their Facebook page for accuracy. I’m planning to take some friends and introduce them to my current favorite place to relax and sip.
I am surprised that I have never heard of this place although i go to avondale often. What i loved most is the availability of parking and the rustic old feel of the cafe.
Delicious paninis made from Bham Breadworks bread; local tea, espresso, and drip coffee; love the coffee and fruit smoothies; bacon jam is a great add on to the pimento cheese sandwich; my favorite chicken salad in Bham!
