TERRIBLE TERRIBLE QUALITY. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR GOOD CHINEASE FOOD DO NOT COME HERE. The meat is terrible quality and is incredibly cheaply made. The fried rice I ordered is literally yellow Mexican rice. EXTREMELY disappointed
Cheap is the only positive thing I can say about my meal here- mushy rice, weird grey chicken chunks- the hot and sour soup was good, but the main dish was really, really not good (Kung Pao Ck.). If you are broke, you will leave full as they give you a pile of it.
Saut mixed vegetables are delish!
Old stand-by. I actually prefer China Moon to a lot of other fast Chinese take-out places. They really do make some of their broths fresh for you, like for the won ton soup, and their hot and sour is almost always delicious. Sometimes they have a bland batch, but I think that’s mostly due to them recently taking the meat out of the recipe. It used to always have ham, but hasn’t had any in months, and I’m assuming it’s to be vegetarian friendly. Other favorite menu items are the spring rolls, the boiled dumplings (REALLY tasty), and the Szechuan chicken. Overall, I’m glad this is the closest Chinese restaurant to me. Sure, Chen Express delivers, but they just don’t do the things I love as well as China Moon.
The food is prepared quickly, but the taste of the food is anything but impressive. If you order chicken, it’s always rubbery dark meat drowned in oily sauce. The fried rice is scary, greasy with an artificial yellow hue.
Veggie Lo mein. I LOVE the Veggie Lo Mein here!! It has lots of sugar snaps, broccoli, carrots, and other veggies. It’s definitely the best I’ve had.
Went to China Moon because of the high rating. I was disappointed. Mongolian beef was tough. It did have a decent flavor. Hot and sour soup was good but egg rolls were not. Just a so so meal.
