The food was good. The service was ok. The menu is unique in that you can only order certain dishes on specific nights. Of course, I really wanted a dish that wasnt available that evening. Perhaps there should be a menu for each night that only lists options that ARE available. Overall, I will definitely eat here again.
The food is always good. It’s salty and flavorful. The drinks are pretty good too. I love how the menu has one 5 choices, and all the choices taste great. However, the atmosphere and service does not fit the price. It is $80-$90 for 2 people with drinks and tip. I expect a quite atmosphere, white table clothes, comfortable seating, and good service for that price, and this place is far from it. The food alone is not worth it, but I’ll probably be back since my girlfriend loves it.
Ever been to those places where they just have a few items on the chalkboard and they do them all good like down at Grayton Beach at the Red Bar…smaller menus can mean better quality and Five delivers on that. The concept is simple they have five appetizers, five salads, five Entrees, five beers and five wines by the glass. It’s Housed a cool old Lakeview building and I had the chicken piccata which ironically they do serve at the red bar at Grayton Beach…Chicken, butter, white wine, and capers Very tasty when done well and it was done well.On my visit they delivered well on service and ambience plus the food was good and I was entertaining clients which made it even better since they enjoyed their time.I’d like to go back and try some of their other dishes and will but in the interim I recommend this place.
I like the concept of Five. They basically give you 5 options for appetizers, plates and drinks. It makes it easy to choose but some might find that limiting. They do brunches on the weekend with live entertainment.
Went in for Sunday brunch. Waited just about 15-20 minutes for a table of 4 around 1100. Service was quick and very attentive. Happy with the drinks and prices, however booze doesn’t start until 1200. The food is very good, and came out fairly quickly. It’s a little loud because of the Jazz duo, but it’s a cool place to have a weekend brunch.
Had dinner here and I really enjoyed it for the second time. We had the baked avocado for an app and I recommend getting 2 if you have a party of 4. I went with the paneed chicken for my entree and I cleaned the plate. It came with caper sauce, mashed potatoes and side salad with strawberries and black berries drizzled in vingarette. Bread pudding finished off the meal. It was rich but easy to split with the table. Our waiter was friendly and very personable. The atmosphere was laid back and a great place to enjoy a meal with friends. If your in Lakeview and are looking for something good with a simple menu to choose from, then Go For It!
