Very good selection of Dogs! The place is upstairs kind of hard to find the address is the front of the building The entrance is on the side of the building. The place is small and very nice. Small selection of local brew. I had the chili dog and the Asian dog. Bother very good. A repeat place.
In proper Birmingham hot dog-style, Hot Diggity is tops in the ‘dog business. I like the Winky Dink–with pimento cheese & the Motherload. I’m a sucker for any kind of chili slaw dog. I’m coming back to try the more Asian-themed dogs and I hope they keep the Sonny Crockett special with an egg–that looks promising!
I’m so glad that Tom Bagby, the amazing chef from the late Bottletree Cafe (R.I.P.) has opened his own place! While I’m very sad that the tofu dogs have egg as a binder (and I hope he’ll add some vegan ones soon), the tater tots are vegan, and delicious with lots of vegan chili. Come hungry, because the portions are enormous!
You have to love the Birmingham food scene because of places like this. We got the Winky Dink Dog,Birmingham Dog and The Motherload Dog with fresh fried pork skins and french fries. The place is small but has a great atmosphere.
