All I can say is WOW. The lemongrass chicken was AMAZING! I also got the cucumber salad. I think the cucumber salad made me realize my mouth has been deprived of flavor for so long. The cucumber salad is so full of flavor and amazingness. I could eat it everyday
Visited the Hotbox for the first time last evening and will return. My wife and I shared an order of the potstickers which were really good, delicious and full of umami! I ordered the hotbox burger and my wife got the lemon grass fried chicken.The burger was delicious with its bacon jam and cheese toppings, but the bun was a bit ordinary and a side a fries disappointed me as trite.The chicken was well prepared with a delicious breading, with fried jalaeno’s as a compliment. There seemed to be more breading than chicken though, as the chicken was cut into very small pieces. I would recommend they use tender strips or larger peices so you get more chicken in every bite.Beverages, which included a sampling of local brews, had to be purchased seperately from Parkside bar and the courtyard dining expereince was great. You order at the trailer and they call your name when your odrder is ready. Some table service would have been nice, but that would probably raise the cost and for the value received, the pricing was excellent and very affordable. We will be back to try more of their unique offerings!
If you haven’t been to Hotbox yet, then I would definitely suggest giving it a try. The food here is wonderful! We tried the lemongrass fried chicken, sausage drunken noodles, and shrimp potstickers. Everything was very good. I was told that the menu changes frequently, so I’m looking forward to coming back and trying something new.
Met friends for dinner and drinks to catch up at Parkside. Found it to be a fun place with a great atmosphere. Ordered the burger and kimchi fries and wasn’t disappointed. Overall a great experience and I’ll definitely be back!
I really wanted to like this place and I will probably give it another shot because the pot stickers were so good. Rating low because the kimchi fries were super soggy and not enough flavor. The burger was kind of meh as well. Great atmosphere though and the food came out quick.
Hotbox was excellent. We had the Sausage Drunken Noodles, Potstickers, Beef and Broccoli, and Kimchi Potatoes. So much flavor!! I will definitely go back. The atmosphere is great. Live music was fun. Staff were very nice, and service was fast.
It’s a food truck with a beautiful patio atmosphere. Under 21 is not admitted. Dogs are welcome.there are 2 bar areas and the food is inventive and flavorful. Kimchi sweet potato is excellent.
