OMG Great food and service. Will go back. Fried pickles I love, never had them taste as good as MELTS . Great atmosphere laid back, rock a Billy. Great transformation from an old garage.
I loved my first visit! I had the Mac and cheese grilled cheese and it was so good that I thought about it every day for a week! So I went again a week later, ordered the same thing. Not sure if it’s because it was a Saturday night and they were busy but it wasn’t good. Such a disappointment. It’s like the Mac and cheese had zero flavor. Just plain noodles on my grilled cheese. For sure not cheesy like the first time.Ordered fried pickles both times and they were phenomenal.Might try again at some point, just won’t go when they are busy.
The perfect grilled cheese sandwich! A great spot for lunch, it’s pretty crowded on the weekends for dinner. Love all the games they have out to play while you wait for your food!
This my favorite restaurant in Avondale, the food is always incredible. The buffalo chicken sammy is my favorite, not to mention the always crispy fries!
A great restaurant for lunch. I really enjoy their grilled sandwiches. One of my favorite sandwiches use to be the Ragin Cajun, but I don’t think it’s on the menu anymore. During my last visit, I tried their Blackbird salad and a cup of the tomato basil soup. Both were very good. I would also suggest trying their Picnic Trio.
Perfect for any occasion. Extremely reasonably priced and delicious food. You wouldn’t think there could be a whole restaurant based on something as simple as a grilled cheese but this place does it. Their grilled cheese sandwiches are good but their salads are also yummy too. One place I will definitely keep coming back to in Birmingham.
Get the 3 Amigos! Great sandwich on great sourdough! Sat by myself at the bar and the bartender was helpful and nice. Would recommend for a lunch probably but would happily come back for dinner.
