Probably one of the best Asian buffets I’ve been to. The food was exactly as you would expect, but the variety of choices was astounding. They do shuck oysters… which was surprising. Everything was kept looking fresh and clean. They even had my wife’s two favorite flavors of ice cream.
Food was as cold as the snow I drove through to get there. The server was fast with getting our drinks. The employee at the counter was nice about it ,and let us leave with no problems.
I was appalled at the rudeness of the servers and manager. I took my son and three grandchildren for dinner. When we were seated it took forever to get a highchair. I had to ask several times. They were not busy, either. I wanted to get soup. They would not let me just get a bowl of soup from the buffet. I had to order it from the menu. I placed my order and waited, and waited and waited. In the mean time, my grandkids and son had pretty much finished eating. When my soup was delivered, it was in a plastic to-go container with a bowl. I told them to just take it back as I didn’t want it now, everyone else had already eaten. The waiter bent down to tell me how they had made it special for me and I should have told him sooner that I didn’t want the soup. I explained that I would have if someone had returned to our table to refill our glassesor help with a water spill. He told me I had to take it because they do not waste food. He went and brought the manager that was even ruder than he. She was raising her voice telling me how wastefulI was and I had to take the soup. This went on for several minutes. I finally looked at her and told her she was wasting her time as I had not even touched the container….it was still in the waiter’s hands….and I wasn’t paying for it. She huffed off with everyone around hearing and watching. I paid my bill and left a good tip because the first waiter was nice enough and someone had to clean up after three children. I believe in doing what’s right and that was the right thing to do. I will never return to that place again. That’s not the first time I’ve had a negative response from the servers. It was however, the worst.
