The worst restaurant experience I’ve had in years! Bad service, bad food. Had to literally hunt down wait staff to place our order. Had to leave our table and walk to the back to find our server and ask for our checks. The food came to us piecemeal, cold, and not complete with all ingredients. The worst!
Tried to rob me at ass point!. I went to have dinner here on Halloween evening with my girlfriend. Our waitress was hot in her police woman costume. It was really tight across her BUT TOCKS!….Ha! I’m sure she makes alot of tips off drunks watching football on the weekend…. However, I was not there to watch football and stare at her backside all night. I was there to have a decent meal with my lady. Ha! Our waitress brought fries instead of chips on my girlfriends order and forgot our pretzel appitizer completely. I didnt say anything because I wanted to give her a break, although the place was not busy at all. She then remembers the appitizer after we are almost finished and asks if we still want it. We respectfully declined because we were kind of full. We order another beer and then asked for the check. Guess what I was still being charged for… the appitizer we did not get. I had her remove it from the check….I can live with bad service….I get pissed when someone tries to steal from me though….Just something to think about. Maybe she should apply for a job at The Furnace!
Love the place, hate the service..I’m a fairly regular visitor to several of the On Tap locations. The food is solid and the beer selection is great. But… The service at this location is just plain bad. I’ve been here on two consecutive weekends and had pitiful sverige both times. I had to send my food back twice. And it’s not just me. Tonight I watched a bachelorette party of 7 go get their own drinks, sit for almost 45 minutes without a single waitress even talking to them, and they eventually just left. I really hate it to post this because I love On Tap, but people need to know. Try the Fultondale or hoover locations instead. The service is great at both.

Like it…overall. Wings are TOO BIG. I wish they would buy the smaller to medium size – being in the restaurant business, everyone knows the flavor of a wing is better when they are smaller. Consider Baumhauer’s size wings….much better flavor. But I like the atmosphere and waiters/waitresses very nice….sometimes a little slow. Great Bloody Mary’s!
Atmosphere. I go mainly because of Leslie! She is the coolest waitress there. I go mainly to shoot the breeze with her!
Let me say not a better place to chill with a beer on southside. Great staff, good regular customers, awesome beer selection.
