Great quality sushi friendly staff would highly recommend. This place needs to be on your list if you are nearby. A top notch sushi and Japanese cuisine for Alabama. Plus reasonably priced unlike some other places.
The sushi is usually fresh and delicious. However, my husband and I were disappointed with the quality of the sushi when we stopped in for lunch today. The yellowtail had a chewy consistency and tasted like old fish. Disappointed but we’ll give them a second chance when the Doug Baker Blvd location opens.
One of the best sushi places in Birmingham. I’m usually picky about my rolls, but I’ve been more adventurous at this place. No matter what I order it is always delicious and fresh. They have some of the best sashimi in town, the fish is very fresh and delicious. Me and my boyfriend split the Chef Special A, the crazy tuna roll that comes with it, is hands down my new favorite roll!
Always a favorite. I work at a sushi restaurant and I go here to get my sushi. It is very fresh and very, very cheap which usually don’t go hand in hand when you’re talking sushi, but Sushi Village is the exception! The lunch sushi special is 3 select rolls for about 9 dollars. But you get to choose from like 20 rolls. Seaweed salad and veggie tempura are also really good. Service is always decent.
Sushi Village is the only place in Birmingham that I care to get sushi. It is always fresh and tastes great. The staff are so nice. The atmosphere is comfortable. The miso soup is hot and wonderful. My go-to order is a Miso Soup, Pink Lady Roll, and Sashimi Deluxe (to share with a guest).
Great sushi. Lots of selections. A bit pricey but worth it. Manager is great and very helpful. Courteous staff Even tried the party platter and its really good for the price
