Great food, horrible service. Should have left when I saw the bartender roll her eyes because we told her the wrong channel to turn the TV to watch a particular game. Took 10 minutes to get our first beer. Ordered food and another round. 15 minutes later still no drinks. Maybe we came on a bad day or got a bad waitress….

Actually using the filling station has a gas station back in the day… they’ve done a great job changing it to a restaurant great patio for outside seating. Had lasagna it needed to be a little hotter. The service was good and they had a good selection on the menu.

We sat at the bar and watched football on the screens located in front. The Filling Station has a great hometown bar atmosphere. We felt right at home, having short conversations with other folks seated on each side. I ordered a local Avondale Saison beer on tap, along with a pasta, shrimp, pesto dish. I shared a Caesar’s salad with my dining partner. Both the salad and the pasta dish were delicious! Portions were large. My dining partner ordered a pizza. We both enjoyed our experience …and we will be visiting The Filling Station again soon!

We came to grab a bite and watch some football. Decided on the house pizza. Procuitto , sausage. Mushrooms and fresh Basil. The crust was light and crispy. The toppings were fresh. 1 12 inch pizza easily fed 2 adults and a little to bring home. We will be back can’t wait to try the Calzone next time.

Live in Crestwood and eat here a good bit! The atmosphere is nice. The food is good but not great. I have no problem eating here based on the convenience!
