The key lime pie was amazing! The young man who waited on me was very friendly. I called ahead to place my order and the gentleman reserved my pie for me to pick up after work. So easy!
I am a huge pie lover so I was looking forward to trying some of their pies. After seeing their offerings and trying the triple berry and banana cream pies, we won’t be going back. The pies were just average, especially for the prices they charge. The crusts were flaky but flavorless (and had a little burnt flavor) and the fillings were equally dull in the flavor category. We were wondering if the fillings came out of cans. Regardless, we can make better pies at home even if we get super lazy and buy pre-made crusts. To be honest, frozen Marie Calendar pies we’ve had at friends houses were better. To give them another try we ordered chicken pot pies which had to be ordered the day before. Sadly, once again we were disappointed. Both pot pies were mostly crust with a tiny pocket of filling in the middle. We ended up tossing 3/4 of it away because after a few bites from the middle we just had a bowl of crusts. The only reason I’m not giving it a vote of 1.0 is because it’s a source fora pie if you absolutely must have one and don’t have time to make one yourself.
The NEXT cupcake craze…PIES!. The moment I tried A Pie Stop, I was hooked. They can make any kind of pie you can think of. They even take special request for any occasion. Stop by, say Hi, and get a slice of pie. You won’t be disappointed!
First time customer. Went there to order pies and they told me to come back the next day, if they were open for business why couldn’t she take my order! She then ask my name didn’t write anything down and to to come back next day and she would set them aside for me. Sent my daughter to pick them up the next day and she told her she didn’t know anything about it! What a shame I was so ready to try their pies! Bad customer service! Can’t say anything about the pies cause I didn’t get to try them!
Mixed feelings…. The moment you walk in that whiff of fresh baked pies hits you like a delicious sweet wall of goodness. In addition to their case of pies, there is also a case of homemade candies and a limited selection of cookies and huge whoopie pies. Now onto the pies. My dad and I shared a slice of Triple Berry, it was good but we both felt it could use more berries and less gelatin. It was more like a goopy pie than berry pie. The crust was decent but it was not quite flaky enough for my taste, more on the doughy side. Overall for this trip, I didn’t feel I got my $5/slice worth of pie. Although fresh, it was lacking and the slice was quite small for $5. But I am not ready to give up on A Pie Stop quite yet. I’m interested to see how the other pies taste (the apple and peach look yummy ad not too goopy), so I’ll be back to sample. Give it a try, it might just suite your pie taste buds.
If you like pie, you’ll love this place. Great variety of tasty pies, Kaladi coffee – what else needs to be said! Go – you’ll love it!
