I like the Cake Studio! The strawberry champagne cake/cupcakes are delicious. I got one for my daughter on her birthday and she loved it. The frosting was Devine. The walnut bourbon tart was buttery and delicious. The oatmeal cookies were good, and worth getting a pack for sharing. It’s a little on the pricy side, but after paying just as much for much less tasty treats somewhere else, and considering it’s somewhere I usually go to just to treat myself, I’m not complaining.

Ordered a key lime pie and assorted truffles. Key lime pie was okay. The chocolate truffles from the case were terrible. The centers were so dried out (a sign of being too old and way past their prime). They were dried out, marble-sized centers floating in a hollow chocolate shell. You could cut into one and the center would roll out. It took me by surprise the first time. It was so disgusting that by instinct I spit the entire thing out. By the second truffle, I knew to cut into it first. All four (different flavors) were all dried out. In all my life, I’ve never spit out a truffle. This was horrible. Unfortunately, I had already left the store and couldn’t return or I would have. The high price was just insult to injury. I don’t mind paying a premium for fine chocolates and desserts. In this case the quality didn’t even come close to matching the price. Do yourself, your taste buds, and your wallet a favor and skip this one.

The owners are so rude. I try to support local but I refuse to support ass holes. I have been here on few occasions and have never had good food. Plus, service was slow.

Such a darling little place. The desserts are tasty and they have a nice little tea selection as well.

Poor Value. So bummed! This place used to make killer croissants. I don’t know the reason (other than using a smaller amount of dough or not letting them proof enough), but I swear they are 1/2 the size they used to be. And more than $3 apiece! So, today I settled for a scone ($2.50) which was pretty good. Later, hubby decided to join me after lunch and wanted a piece of cake. He ordered a slice of the chocolate raspberry cake and I had a raspberry bar cookie. $5 for the cake and $2.50 for the cookie! Wha??? I’m expecting the cake to be DIVINE for that price, especially because the slice was TINY. Nope. It was dry and uninspiring. The bar cookie was okay, but a much better value. The service is spotty–some days good, some days bad. I hope this place gets it act together, otherwise I’ll head over to FIre Island to get my baked goods. They are way too overpriced for the products they are trying to sell. I’ve mentioned it to the salespeople, who shrug their shoulders and walk away.

Not a huge fan. Went there for my wedding cakeAfter paying close to $800 I was expecting a work of genius. The appearance was amazing, a truly beautiful looking cake. However, the cake, for the most part was flavorless. Half the cake was dry, and the fondant was really, really thick. Maybe I chose the wrong flavor, seems like the other reviews also frown upon the red velvet. Good thing I’ll only get married once, but it I were to need a wedding cake again, I would not go here.

I can’t believe I spent $20 bucks on this. I swear the samples are different from what’s behind the counter. The chocolate covered cherry was dry and tasteless. I love chocolate covered cherry and I normally buy cheap ones bacause I’m not very wealthy but this was disgusting. If this is what rich chocolate is supposed to taste like, I’m glad to be middle class. The Lola tasted like perfume and the quail eggs were dry and had an off flavor. Honestly, nothing had a good flavor and I ended up enjoying a Mr. Goodbar just to get the taste out of my mouth.
