Had the $9.95 lunch special. Italian sub and potato soup. Sub roll was good and the sub itself was good. It had a unique tangy flavor I enjoyed. The soup was ok. It had gelled areas in it and some of the bacon had not been cooked enough to render out the fat. Pretty good value though.
Good for Everyday Stuff. I wouldn’t make a special trip to eat here, but when I worked close by it was great to walk there and eat at the picnic tables outside. Food was tasty and service was good. Prices seemed fair.
Very tasty and original. I really like AK Gourmet Subs since their soups are homemade, delicious, as are their subs. The only thing I would consider ‘bad’, is that they might wish to check their salmon a little better for bones, as I’ve gotten some in my last two orders. Other than that, kudos for something very special in downtown!
A very busy place!. As members of the downtown workforce, my co-workers and I are always looking for a restaurant that can deliver. AK Gourmet subs is our choice. Great food, friendly delivery people.
So impressed! The staff was so friendly and the sub was incredible, I believe I ordered the peppered club! It is really hard to find a good sub nowadays, and this one topped the charts. I will be back!
