Boring, unhealthy
Wanted to like it. I so wanted to like this local place. I was pleasantly surprised on the decor on the inside. I was expecting functional, but it was actually pretty nice. The breakfast, however, was akin to a hotel hot bar breakfast. The scrambled eggs were mix eggs, and everything was just mediocre. Service was pretty good, and the meals came out fast, but they were just, meh. I won’t go back to pay $25 for breakfast I can make myself.
Barbie’s Cafe is a favorite breakfast spot in Anchorage. Good prices, great comfort food and hospitality. Barbie cooks in her own kitchen daily and her food reminds me of Southern cuisine. From her secret sweet cornbread receipe and homemade soups to the Eggs Benedict and French toast.. it is all delicious! Breakfast is served ALL day till 3p as well as some great lunch options 🙂 Perfect small town restaurant feel and great food!

Best steak and eggs in town. Awesome little restaurant. Good service and great food. My girlfriend and I eat there occasionally and haven’t been disappointed. The steak and eggs are great. Give this place a try.
Lol, Kim Parker must be a retarded ex waitress. I don’t understand what she’s saying, but it sounds like she’s mad. This place is alright. Went there once. I’d rather go to gwennies. If your near this place, try it out. Decent.
Good food, love the French Toast. MmmmBurgers also good. Quiet astmosphere and nice staff. You don’t feel rushed to eat and leave.
