Clean and fast service considering busy spot at 10AM Sunday. Foods like a home cooked meal (speciality home cooked would be a 3.5) if that is what you’re looking for and don’t want to worry about the dishes after update $100 for 4, maybe I will do the dishes next time 2.5 rating but again fast and considerate service considering how busy.
Our Regular Breakfast Spot. Anytime my girlfriend and I go out for breakfast, this is our spot. They serve breakfast and lunch until they close at 3 pm. The food is plentiful and delicious. I usually get the chicken fried steak and it never disappoints. The hash browns are crispy without being burnt and dry. My girlfriend gets their pancakes which are so big and thick we typically end up bringing home half her breakfast- and that’s the one pancake breakfast; they also have a 3-cake choice. The oatmeal is in the argument for the best in town. We’ve had lunch there a couple times and they don’t disappoint here either. Their burgers are huge with the best buns in town and the cold sandwiches don’t disappoint.The only knock we have with Barbie’s is while the service is good, sometimes you get the feeling that some of the people who work there would rather be anywhere else but there and it shows. But, the food far outweighs the attitudes of the servers and will never keep us from our favorite breakfast spot. Over the years we’ve tried a good percentage of the menu and we have yet to be disappointed with our choice.
