Reservation at 1645. Sat down at 1800. Does anything else really matter when you are trying to keep 4 kids happy? One other note…you don’t get nearly as much food for what you pay here as compared with the lower 48 or even the other Hibachi places in Anchorage.
Rude manager, great food. Our family has lots of kids and we love coming here, but the front desk situation is a hot mess. We made reservations for 6:30 and didn’t get seated until 6:50. When we asked politely and told the manager we had antsy kids with us, she replied that she had kids too. So rude. Luckily we come for the food and not her poor customer service.
Special Occasion. It was something different, which was good. No complaints. We had a good cook! He was tidy, kept his area clean and he was well experienced. (Everyone have different experiences because all cooks are different in their own way. So, I’m glad we had one of the well experienced cooks.) It was interesting to watch our food being cooked in front of us. You’re able to tell the cook how you want your food seasoned or how you want your steak, if you choose to have steak. Good sea food as well!! I hope we get another good cook the 2nd time around. We left the place nice and full! Friendly staff too.
Dissapointed. Their food is just very lame, their hibachi is lame too and the service is bad. I don’t recommend it at all. Their prices are ok, I would say they’re maybe even good and cheap considering this is Alaska, but they need tons of work in that menu. Frozen steamed soggy veggies??? Are you kidding??? And they love to serve cold food, it’s definitely reheated. What a shame, I dislike it and there’s no way I would even recommend it!
If you like inauthentic, chain restaurants or want to spend a small fortune on mediocre sushi… This is the place for you! If you want quality food, try some place else.
Food and service is always good. Highly recommend!
