4-13-14 . I haven’t been going to the food truck to long but I can tell you that The soft tacos are the best I’ve had in anchorage where I have lived since 93′ . I go there everyday now , sort of an addiction . I haven’t been trying anything else but I’m sure it is all equally as good !
It’s decent again. So I think most people have been going to Benny’s since when they opened. Anyway for a time their burritos were horrid, I want to say there was about a 5 year window of pretty terrible burritos. I recently went back to see if anything has changed and they are finally making hand made burritos again. I was told that they lost the original recipe but are trying to figure it out, the burritos aren’t as good as they were but alot better than when they were buying them prefrozen and not cooking them all the way through. They haven’t gotten the recipe down yet but it’s a decent burrito and the consistency is right again unlike with the frozen burritos. So if you haven’t given them a try in awhile, try them you will hopefully be surprised like I was.

Not the greatest. Very cool owners, and cool concept. But I wasn’t really that impressed. Bland bean and cheese burrito and rice that could have come out of a box. Maybe they used to be better? Or maybe this is yet-another not-great Alaskan mexican place?
Best cheese burrito in the world. Excellent food, quick and friendly service. I go to Benny’s when I need comfort food and all is right with the world
