Surprisingly Good!. Had appetizers here tonight and didn’t expect much..usually only have drinks and great conversation. The food was GREAT. The Ahi Poke was to die for and the chicken curry was delicious. The prices were great and the service was excellent. Thanks for turning our night around after a terrible trip to the Bubbling Mermaid:)
My favorite bar in Anchorage best atmosphere and amazing food that is really good not your ordinary generic bar food. It’s a really nice quite place to have a good but laid back dinner on a week night. It’s a little bit more expensive for their food then regular bars but you get what you pay for it’s worth it!
Enjoyed a sunny wednesday night here. It is NOT super trendy like other reviews say. It’s very laid back, and the food is SO GOOD! The waiter staff is few & far between though.. Veggie pizza is TOO DIE FOR! Mmm! Chicken curry, artichoke dip were excellent as well. Drinks were a little on the high side, but weren’t lacking spirits. I’d be back for sure!

A surprising experience. Fun atmosphere, generally young and trendy (for Anchorage that is) clientele, and a large patio area.The food was shockingly diverse and delicious. The prices were not overwhelming either. I went with a couple of friends and all of us loved our dishes. Unfortunately, they seemed to be half-staffed. They only had 3 waitresses for the whole, completely filled, patio. It was hell trying to flag down a waitress for a new beer or to order food. I would suggest sitting as close to the building as possible, otherwise you will be forgotten.Would definitely return.
Decent food and drink, but so trendy it hurts. Make sure to wear fashion frames and bring your sketchbook.
The spicy poke tuna is incredibly fresh and incredibly spicy. Well done Bernie’s. Best tuna I’ve had in ANC.
