Stopped in for lunch, very good burger and reindeer hot dog. Service was fast and efficient. Nothing fancy just as great little local place along the highway.
The saloon is a pleasant stop along Seward Highway between Anchorage and Girdwood. They have beer, cider, pool tables and food (burgers, fries, nachos, etc.). While I enjoyed the saloon, the upstairs motel rooms left much to be desired.
Brown Bear Saloon has a quirky decoration but fun to experience. We had the reindeer hotdogs. Service is quick and staff is friendly. A quick stop at Indian.
