Cool Throwback Place. I liked this place. Sure it’s dated, but the food is tasty, fast and very inexpensive. It is a place where you can do a downtown GOOD lunch for UNDER $10 including drink. The Ranch Burger was really tasty. The burger’s aren’t hand pressed patties of Angus Prime, but they are good. The steak fries were good for steak fries, but I’d opt for an egg roll for $1.50 next time. Free parking to boot!
Pretty good. I ordered the garden burger and french fries. The garden burger was good, nothing extraordinary (but there are few extraordinary veggie burgers to be found in Anchorage). I noticed some reviewers disliked the fries, but I liked them quite a bit; they’re basic steak fries, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and unsalted but with salt provided. I’ll definitely be ordering here again when I’m in the mood for a burger again.
Good food fast at burger jims. I’ve been ordering from here for some time now. The food is great (except the fries), and the prices are great for the amount you get. The delivery is fast and the customer service is wonderful, and menu extensive. My personal favorites are the crab ragoons and the Jim Burger. But don’t take my word for it, try this place yourselves.
I should buy stock. My office orders from here regularly and the food is always hot and good. There burgers are great but in my opinion, the chinese is even better. The fried rice is awesome! The fries aren’t great and I don’t really care for their dinner plates (ie seafood plater) but the mongolian beef keeps me coming back again…and again…and again…
Was told about this place by people at work. Decided to try it. Guess I will now be a regular. Food is fast and tasty. Reasonablely priced. Food servered very hot. Worth a try . Get extra napkins.
Burgers. When My Mom worked at the Old Native Hospital It was our mission to go to Burger Jims while we waited for her to get off work and What a treat it was. Im gonna try another burger today to see if they taste like they did when i was younger !!!!! I will report back
Pretty Good. They are friendly and fast, they are one of the few resturants I know of that have eggburgers AND chili dogs which most restaurants don’t have here and their chili isn’t spicy at all which I really appreciate.The only cons I would say is that their food is a bit greasy and it’s sometimes hard to understand their people over the phone – its a bit noisy in the kitchen.
