Over priced, RUDE, reheated, pre-packaged frozen CRAP. Nearly everything on the menu comes from a bag in the freezer and they RECYCLE the rice!! (This informarion was shared by a previous employee and noticed by the marked boxes being delivered.)Not to mention how incredibly rude they are. Any wait staff given a $20 tip for a $35 bill would be grateful. Instead, she just swiped it from my hand and rolled her eyes at my children. I had hoped that by tipping well, they might treat my family a little better next time , seeing as this is the only oriental restaurant close to our home in Chugiak. NOPE! We’ve given them a multitude of opportunities to evolve into a decent restaurant with kind and efficient staff over the years. Yet still, no good changes have happened. It’s as if they hate their patrons. Especially white people with children or disabilities(as we have both in our family). They REFUSE to accommodate the differently abled and deny children the pre-dinner soup if they are sharing a meal because they are too little to eat a whole meal themselves. As for the boastful sign claiming to be in the top 100 restaurants. .. YEAH RIGHT! Anyone who’s traveled, even a little, could easily see that isn’t possible. It makes me wonder what libelous lawsuit could take place for such a lie. The people of Eagle River and Chugiak are tired of having only subpar choices of garbage for take out. We will keep hoping for new restaurants and driving into Anchorage for oriental food for now. China lights will never see another penny from this family.
