If I had filled out this review the first year it opened it would be a 4. But the place has seemed to slide continuously downward ever since. The service is always great and the atmosphere us 100% diner comfort food. Unfortunately the food isn’t. Our initial rave about the place was their homemade chicken pot pie. Thick, rich and full of chicken and veggies. The last two times it was as thin as soup with a tiny fraction of the amount of chicken and veggies it used to have with flavorless broth. We didn’t even bother finishing it. Everything else we’ve tried was, again, ok but seemed to have no polish or uniqueness. It’s like the place got tired of pushing the envelope and just went back to standard, flavorless diner fare.
