We use Crow’s Nest to celebrate major milestones in our lives. It’s the kind of place that makes something to celebrate that much more special. It’s shockingly pricey but everyone deserves to be treated like a Queen/King every now and then. And, yes, you’ll be treated like royalty. Your server is only there to take your order and make sure your evening is spectacular. Everything you need is anticipated and ready before you know you need it. As far as the food, get ready for some imaginative takes on regular dishes and chef creations you never thought about trying. And the view simply cannot be beaten. Some have an issue with the dress code, but it’s not what you’d experience in the lower 48. No ties or suits required, but they do require pants (no shorts) and no flip-flops. I guess you could call it Alaskan-dress up as we’re a bit more casual up here. Overall, if you want a meal to celebrate something special and you want to remember it for a long, long time, make a reservation at Crows Nest. Ignore the prices and just enjoy. You won’t regret it.
