  Mixed Bag. We arrived at 11:40 a.m. on a Saturday. Although the restaurant did not open until Noon, the staff was kind enough to let us in to sit while we waited and brought water and menus right away. Lunch was a mixed bag. My daughter got a crunchy roll and enjoyed it. I got a seafood noodle stew, which was not as good. There were three shrimp and one scallop in the stew, with the rest of the meat being large chunks of squid. The squid was a turn off for me. It was grisly and there was so much of it. The flavor of the stew sauce was spicy and good, but again, too much grisly squid. The little salads that came with lunch were frozen (yes, frozen lettuce). To be fair, perhaps it was not yet thawed given that we came early, but typically frozen lettuce loses its consistency once thawed. Not good.

  Great find. We found this awesome, unassuming sushi house off the beaten path while vacationing inAlaska. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We order bento boxes to try a variety of dishes! Everything was excellent. Our 9 yr old thought the ahi sushi was the best she had ever had! Highly recommend this local joint!!!

  We have heard great things about this place so we decided to try it out. We were impressed! Our rolls came out quick and the staff was friendly! We got the Calvin Choice roll and Mt.Fuji roll.. They were both great in flavor I didn’t like how loose the rolls were though made it hard to eat!
