Warning: They will steal your credit card!!!. I ate a Dami Sushi a few years ago and was in a rush and did not notice when they ran my credit card that they did not return it. I relized a few hours later and called and they said they had it at the register. When I went in to get it, they could not find it, and the woman went in to the kitchen and brought it back! That night my credi card company called to verify a charge that was being placed for jewelry on the card frrm the Phillipines for $1,500! Of course, I denied the charge so it did not go through. Obviously the person who worked at Dami called a friend in Phillipines and gave them my credit card number.Today my boyfriend paid for lunch with his card and the card was not in the folder with the bill. We were in a hurry and it was not until he got outside that he realized he did not get the card back. He confronted the waitress and she claimed not to have it. He told her he was calling the cops and suddenly she dipped behind the desk, presumably to her purse, and produced the card! Luckily no one had enough time to pass the information off to relatives in another country.Be very careful if you use a credit card, or better yet, only give cash!Anchorage diner
Always amazing!. This is my go to place for Sushi. I come here so often that the servers noticed when I didn’t come in for a few months. The service is great in my opinion. They are always very fast and attentive. The sushi has always been amazing and I even get free appetizers from time to time. I always order tea and I haven’t been charged once for it once. This is one of the best sushi places in Anchorage!
Was greeted by staff in a timely manner, received edimame wich was browned the sushi- the Trent Roll- overall clean taste, the Minzi or Mindy roll- too heavy on flavor, Shrimp tempura- I don’t know why restaurants don’t just Panko the shrimp, the tempura is too thick in breading which leaves too much grease, sauce it’s served with has little to no flavor, however, on a positive note, our waitress, very sweet, attentive, the sushi chefs were a set of actual chefs that take pride in their dishes they put out, presentation was on point, upon entering, upon leaving they made sure to say welcome and made us feel welcome to come back, I’ve been here before many times and have always liked this spot, recommend the. House fried rice, it’s scrumptious, thank you!
