The food was great but the service was slow. If I would have been at the bar I would have received better service then what we did from are waitress.
Pizza was more bread but digestible, seating is cafeteria like. If you go to an area that at one time was forested then quickly built up with the most insane roadway plan to get to anywhere, you may as well be ready for anything. Just to get to this place and then to walk inside, it feels as if you are rushed. With all the other food joints packed into this area I expect they would want to make sure the food and atmosphere provide a change. It does not. Had the pizza and while it had good dough and the toppings were enough to tell you what it was supposed to be, I suppose. Another pizza place in town that has Moose in it has nothing to worry about apparently. As we went to get seated for some reason the hostess wanted us to sit at a table in the middle of the room when there were booths empty around the room. Once that poor aside was quickly handled through my request for the nicer seating, I would have to say it would be useful to develop a better approach in the future but perhaps she knew we would be better off sitting elsewhere as the speakers for the TV’s were blaring sports games. Good if you are going there for the game. I guess that is what Firetap is about though as it seemed to be more about mass seating for game watching. This is the second time I have been here and I will try again in the distant future. Perhaps when all the construction and insertion of even more businesses have evened out and there is a better road system to help wend my way through the area.
We gave it a try even after reading the negative reviews. Had heard mixed things from people about Firetap. The food was actually really good. The wait time was horrible just for soup as salad before our meal. Was 30 minutes and came after our food did. My husband got fries instead of the corn fritters he ordered. The waitress we had was extremely kind and kept checking on our food. It was frustrating watching people who came in after we ordered and they got their food and paid their check and left before we got our food. The waitress comped my husbands meal and we took most of our food to go. So in conclusion. The food was good, the wait staff was great, the kitchen time and attention to details is what is lacking! Will not go back dispite the good food.
Love this place!. Great food, great bar drinks. We always walk away happy! A super plus for Firetap is the large glutton free menu. My daughter can actually order normal food. The glutton free menu included pizza and all tasted wonderful. The one minus is the calzones on the normal menu are frozen and awful! Nasty, runny and not hot through.
Good service and a great waitstaff. Excellent beer selection.
We love the beer pretzel at Firetap. Great sliders and caprese too!
Needs to fit your taste.. It has the feel of a nice restaurant. I was expecting a sports bar kind of feel but the tvs are small and wide spread. I like to go there for their pizza and pretzel sandwiches at lunch. They are kind of pricey.
