Unprofessional. I ordered the ten piece chicken meal and when I got home it was horrible there were no breast the two thighs I had were so dry dried out it was just skin and bones and the rest were tiny wings and legs. So I called to complain and got a manager. I told her the problem and she started telling me how it is supose to come. I told her not to insult my intelligence cause o know how it is supose to be. So she transfered me to another manager and at this point I was tired of being trsnsfered. I mean how many managers do I have to talk to. Anyway he didn’t want to listen and he didn’t care. This place has the worst management and customer service I have ever seen I love far from golden corral and it was a waste of my gas and time. I will never eat there again and will tell others about my experience and why they shouldn’t go either.
Worse GC I have ever eaten at throughout the country!. We have eaten at many Golden Cirals and have been satisfied … Some better than others … But this was the nastiest, dirtiest, grossest GC we have ever eaten at. It looked like they had not swept in days,ntho silverware was dirty, the tables were sticky. Now for the food … We went during a time when you would definitely expect the food to be fresh and appealing. Instead of stirring dishes so the top didn’t get crusty, they just left it. They didn’t bring out new trays in a timely fashion. At one point I waited 15 minutes for turkey. They were also out of stuffing and gravy, but mashed potatoes were half full. When the turkey came, I asked about the stuffing. The Manager came out and explained that they stagger their foods. Yeah, but stuffing goes with turkey, as well as gravy. -5 minutes later the manager came out and said there was no more stuffing! Then take the sign down! I waited 20 minutes for meatloaf that came out cold and pink inside. I am allergic to seafood and fish … Half of the items were mismarked and I had to ask. I watched kids stick and drop broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and other discusting items into the chocolate fountain. One child picked up and ate a bite if a brownie and put it back and then proceeded to stick his fingers into the pies. The taco meat and beans looked like they had not been touched all day … Crusty and hard on top. A piece of chicken was sitting in a container of beef gravy … Do they not even check the containers and kerp them clean?? I brought it to the manager’s attention, which made him defensive and hostile (& I was polite). I finally told him that I had eaten at GC all over the country and this one should be shut down. i will never eat there again. Usually I will give a restaurant a second change in case it was new management or a bad day … But not in this case!! I won’t add a photo … It would gross you out.
Great place to people watch. Go for lunch so it’s not too much $$, get something safe like a salad and some Mac and Cheez, and post up next to the chocolate fountain and the banana pudding. 100% chance you’ll see people sticking items into the chocolate fountain that would make the health department cringe. The banana pudding is so freaking good, it is almost certain that when they put a new bucket out there will either be a fight, or someone will literally put half the tub on a plate.
This is a great place of course it’s way better than Ding how when it comes to the choice of food and the price is not too high but beside that its too crowded…***Recommend for people who don’t mind eating in a crowded place for a cheaper price***
I had the worst experience there today. The food was gross and the service sucked. When I went up to get my food I looked on the floor in the kitchen and there was food ALL OVER IT! The napkin dispenser on our table had old dried food all over it. Most of the plates and silverware were not clean. I will NEVER eat there again. They really need to be inspected!
Disgusting. Went here yesterday for a family function and paid $17 per person for nasty food, bad service and rude customers. We were hustled through the front cashier, getting offered a drink then being told you have to pay for it. We get in and you’d think the place was full of starving people the way people maneuvered and jostled their way to the counters. Plates and silverware were covered with grime, floors were covered with crumbs and food scraps. The food was low-quality leftovers from the service companies. The poor bussers couldn’t keep up with the masses of consumption. The Royal Fork was never this bad! If that wasn’t all, then you wouldn’t mind watching the morbidly obese patrons stacking their plates, licked clean, on the table next to them. They call it Golden Corral for a reason–nothing but a bunch of nasty, rude oinkers sidling up to the trough for slops. Never again.
Better than I expected. I went there for lunch for the first time. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the food. There was lots of variety. If you can’t find something you like here you are way too picky. It’s not 5 star but if that’s what you expect you shouldn’t be going there in the first place. Everything was refilled quickly while I was there. A couple things looked like they needed refilling so I went to a different area and when I came back there was fresh food in the pans. The salad bar had nice fresh veggies and about anyting you could want to put on a salad. The dessert bar was very good. Warm pies, cobblers, bread pudding, fresh fruit, ice cream. I’ve only been once but I will return to try dinner or lunch again. Good value for the price.
