Avoid at all costs. Was a hot, sunny day in Anchorage and downtown was packed! Figured this place would be a bit busy, so prepare to wait. Head on inside and its dead in here. This should have been a warning to get out. Sit and the empty bar and wait….and wait….and wait. The bartender acknowledges me, so I know she’ll take my order in a a few seconds. Still waiting….and waiting…waited over 10 minutes and finally just got up and left.never again.
I’ve been there three times now, and had Great, Good, and meh service. The first time, back in December, we got an amazing server who took care of our every need. The second time our service was slow but good.The third time, I sat in the main restaurant in a booth as opposed to the bar area since we had more than two in our group. Service was awful, slow, and the place was loud although it was full but not packed.The food is really good but it seems the kitchen is slow. I think this is a great date place but it’s pretty slow if you have more than two in your group and sit anywhere other than the bar.
