Gratest sushi in town first sushi chef in anchorage 23 years ago from the captain cook the atmosphere is a little old school but once you get past that enjoy the best sushi in the city been going here for about 7 years
Reliable favorite. This restaurant is on our way home from work. We get take out at least once a week. Rolls are great, I have always been pleased. We eat a lot of sushi, and this it one of the best in Anchorage
I want to be nice…. ….but there just isn’t much to cheer about here. Anchorage has GREAT sushi spots..but this is not one of them. This place gets a C minus and another empty chair from me.

This is by far the best sushi restraunt in Anchorage. Potion size is excellent, environment is superbe, and not only is the fish uber fresh, it’s delicious to boot. An all around great establishment.
Great to watch. I enjoy going to Ichiban and watching the man make the sushi. He is always very attentive and I enjoy sitting and watching his work.
Very disappointing. Portion sizes were small and 3 of my 5 sashimi portions tasted like dirt. I won’t go back.
