Ordered my food for pick up. when I walked in I was glad I did it looks very dark and dim in their dining area and it’s pretty small. I got a small pizza which was interesting I never had a pizza with all the toppings under the cheese. and I got a chicken gyro because I’m just not sure about lamb. the food was decent nothing spectacular. Don’t know if I’ll try it again.
Restored pizza. Thi pizza isnt the same as it was back in the day. Ive gone back to try it again and it is restored back to being good. Its a chicago like styled crust. I like the ratio of sauce to crust to topping ratio. My pizza came to me piping hot! I ordered a half cheese and half jamincos special (it does cost extra for half and half). The server was attentive and thoughtful. It was a slow day there were only three tables of guests. I reheadedt the pizza leftovers in the oven and it tasted deliscious the crust got crispy on the outside and it was still tebder bread on the inside of the crust. If you havent tried them in a while try them again.
AH-mazing!. I always passed this place while on my way home. I must say I was impressed. The minute I walked in I was nicely greeted and helped. The lady was genuinely nice. The food I ordered was for pick up. When I got home the food still was fresh and delicious! the salad was great and my son absolutely loved the pizza. I have officially found my pizza spot in anchorage!!
Delicious food, friendly service. Always had a positive experience the food was delicious and served to me hot the staff is friendly and I enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant
They have the best sandwiches in anchorage. It’s in a bad neighborhood but well worth going to get it. Prices are fair staff is friendly. I love this place.
Customer Service is horrible. We ordered 2 large pizzas, a Jamicos Special and a 2 topping that was half/half. They did not give us the total. About 40 mins later the delivery driver brought us 1 pizza, the half/half. I told him we ordered 2 and he said he would be back. We get a call from the store 20 mins later with the order taker telling us we did not order 2. I repeated order and she says she thought we meant a special order pizza, I told her we were very clear on the phone and she starts telling me they have a special that’s 2 mediums or something. They would not take responsibility for screwing up the order. Her only offer was we could order another one.
Great little neighborhood restaurant. The food is consistently good.The burgers are some of the best in town, they use really high quality ground meat which really makes a difference. Reminder: Next time the Anchorage Daily News has their ‘best burger’ contest I need to nominate Jamicos.The pizzas have tons of cheese.The staff at our dental office (Mountain View Family Dentistry) likes ordering from there when we have birthday lunches.
