Made a reservation but have been sitting here for 1.5 hours and still haven’t been seated.
We had made a reservation and waited and waited, all the while listening to some foul mouthed teenagers so loud that I was amazed that they no one addressed their behavior. It was awful! We finally left.
First time. Made a reservation for 7 people. We all arrived and were seated promptly. We were focused on the people in the party and I didn’t pay much attention to what the decor was. The food was plentiful and somewhat expensive but no more so than similar establishments. The food was excellent. People in our part had steak, calamari, shrimp, and scollops. All were cooked very nicely and were tasty. I certainly would return. The only downside for me was that we were at the table on the west end of the dining area and there was a lot of traffic around our table. More of a distraction than any thing else, but a little annoying.
Gone down the drain.. Used to love this place for lunch, at there once or twice a month. Was a good deal. Now expensive for lunch and poor value. Food with little flavor. Tempura is greasy. Sushi bar is not much more than rice with little more than a promise of anything else. Mostly fried shrimp inside and a smear of avocado. The miso soup was so weak you couldn’t taste the miso! Cutting way too many corners to make it worth the trip. Will stop going there after today.
Worst Service and Management EVER!!!. Went to Kobe for fiance birthday with party of seven. Should have know service was going to be bad when I ordered a Saki Bomber and the waitress had to ask me what it was!!!! Ordered Appetizers and meal only to get the appetizer after the meal. I had brought in a birthday cake and candles, only to have it delivered in the box by the waitress and asked if we wanted the candles lit. Who does that? I asked for the manager only to have the Kitchen manager come out. We explained all of the problems we had experienced, he apologized and said he would make sure that the manager called me back and that he personally was going to see to it that we (all 7 of us) would be back with our bill paid for. After 2.5 weeks I called Kobe’s since they had not contacted me. Only to be told by the manager/would be owner that she would give us a certificate for 10% of our bill. In my case that would be $12.80 what a slap in the face!!!!!!Never going back. I would never recommend anyone going to this establishment!
Not good at all. If you like dirty dirty place, expensive, portion small with no taste than Kobe is perfect. I ordered the king crab dish for $40 something and when I got my food it was 1 small snow crab.
Good buffet. I like to go to there buffet on the weekdays. There buffet is awesome but limited of varieties.
