Kriner’s Mt. View is definitely a solid 3. Very average burger, average to sub par service, and a big ‘meh’ on the ambiance.I rarely eat a burger, but when I do I want amazing things to happen. I want ooze from burger juices and awesome sauces. I want ketchup dripping from nice crispy fries, basically…I want a mouthgasm. None of that happened though. My burger was slightly overcooked (imho), and no ooze from my fancy sauce (which was tasty btw). My fries were droopy and uninspired (again, good ketchup sauce with some kick). Maybe the line cooks were tired. The service at the counter needs improving (again, imho). I stood there for a while with not even a ‘hello’, BUT when the phone rang, which is right next to the register where the orders are taken, an employee ran over to answer the call completely ignoring the fact that I was standing there. After the call, he just walked back to what he was doing. In the meantime, I’m still waiting. Quite annoying actually. If you’re looking for a warm fuzzy feeling from Kriner’s ambiance, you’re not going to get it. It’s white on white (with dirt) and quite blah (IMHO). I guess they cater to lots of pick up and take out. Overall, I’m not sure I’ll go back. There are so many other amazing burger places in town. On a very positive note, I like the fact that they took a chance on Mt. View and they seem busy. So this small, inconsequential review won’t hurt them a bit.
Great food, bad service.. The food is great, but the last two weeks we have got food to go the order was messed up both times. Too bad because if the service was better I’d go back
The burgers was wonderful! The price was a little high for just burgers and fries. But you get a lot of food with it. The burgers are big enough for two people. Plus one order of fries is enough for at least 3 people. So if you’re going for a good burger I would recommend it but just take A friend to help you eat that big burger.
Amazing!!!!. Been there a couple times now – today had the Chix Deluxe………….oh my! Chicken, bacon, swiss with tomato, pickle, and jalapenos. Just might be my new favorite. Of course, had to have fries with the secret sauce. I love this place and the owner and staff ROCK! Even tho it’s across town, only took 10 min to get there, sooooooooooo worth it!!
Stormin Norman. A burger big enough to share with a choice of toppings to make the it your own! Burgers are juicy and flavorful! The fries are also big enough to share and still left some on the plate! Love the dipping sauces!
Great burgers. Best burgers in Alaska…. the #3 Stormin Norman was so good…and the best banana pie
Yummy Burgers!. Our first time here and we both had the Storman Norman…delicious handmade burger patties and fresh toppings. The hand cut fries were unique and loved by the whole family. We will be back!
