My wife and I have been eating at La Mex since we moved to Anchorage and this was the last time. We ordered food to go and when my wife went to pick it up, the order was wrong. The rude male employee decided to take up an attitude with my wife when he was asked to fix the order (I have had problems with him myself). And then he had the audacity to place the blame on us and say we ordered wrong. We have been ordering the same exact thing for over a year without an issue. If I could rate it lower, I would. Horrible service
Came in at 8pm tonight. Dining room is closed even though they are open till 9:30. Had to sit in the bar. First yuck. After about 10 mins finally got menus. Asked for a kids menu. That took another 10 mins. As she was handing it to us asked if we were ready. Told her just got the menu so no. She finally came back 15 mins later to take our order. Took 35 mins to get our order. Had to ask for chips and salsa. Had to ask for silverware twice. Good came out lukewarm. Ordered cheese enchiladas with no onion and I think they put extra in there. Decided it was best not to complain because I didn’t trust our server not to spit in the food or something. I will never be back here. Yuck!
