Very mediocre. I wish I wouldve saved my money and had pb and j at home. Bland salsa, super dry,under seasoned chicken in my chimichanga. Chile rellano had doughy wet breading and was undercooked. Definitely the worst mexican food in anchorage, I was very disappointed.
Great fajitas. I have been all over Anchorage looking for great fajitas. This place has them. They always come out sizzling hot and tasty. Several folks have commented on the service. My wife and I have been there many times and we have always received great, friendly service. Our last visit was the recent night when we had two feet of new snow. We were by no means the only people in the place but again we received friendly, attentive service.
Worst mexican meal I have had in several years. Fajitas were overly salty, chili colorado was inedible, rice and beans weren’t memorable. Margarita and wine tasted off, can’t even explain it. Wine described as tasting moldy and likely was open for far too long just sitting there. We live close and were hoping for a new neighborhood haunt, but we won’t be back. Just seemed like no one could careless about quality. Try Serrano’s or El Rodeo… Food is hot and fresh!
Excellent!!!!. We tried Las Margaritas on dec. 30,2011 and i must say it was EXCELLENT!!! The owners are very involved and circulate the room, servers are friendly and they have personality!! You dont find such a relaxed and energetic atmosphere as you will here! All the food is made there, no beans from cans! I had the combination fajitas that were great, hubby had the chipotle shrimp on recommendation and was very pleased. kids had the kids taco which was only one taco but filling with the rice and beans, and the other had the pizza….and it was great, they make their own pizza dough and sauce!! I did try the grande margaritas on the rocks and they were excellent! kids had the fried ice cream for dessert very good gotta love coconut, since the ice cream itself is rolled in coconut to be fried. Over all we spent $75 plus a $10 tip because the service was excellent and the food was exceptional. Will definitely be going back!!!
Comfort food & the best margaritas. The best chicken chipotle and margaritas in town. You should try the herradura tequilla. I love that they make everything in house. No frozen food or from cans.Friendly warm and cozy not too expensive, great for families or dinner with friends.
Great food and margaritas too!. One of our favorite places, long time customer.Love the Chipolte Chicken and Chipolte Shrimp.They are known for those dishes.Also, I know the waiter mentioned by another customer.What that customer doesn’t realize is….that waiter has a numerous personality! He was kidding you!My husband and I are white, middle aged, regular citizens.That waiter teases with us using those same statements. He’s kidding and being friendly. We like him very much and are glad when we are seated in his area! Often, he’ll walk over and joke around and say hello. Great home made salsa and chips in mild and hot graciously given to tables.
Friendly, welcoming, personal, fast service. delicious Mexican dishes, mediocre Italian dish tonight. have been here before and will come back. 🙂
