I wish I could give this placea rating of 0.0, it was that bad. Whenever I go to a new dinerthat claims breakfast is their specialty, I try to order the same thing for my first visit – chicken fried steak. It was so disappointing I only made it about 1/3 of the way thruand declined our server’s offer to box the rest for home. The meat was tough/chewy with chunks of gristle and it was dripping with fat. Not juice from the meat, fat from the fryer. The sausage gravy tasted like salty paste and I could not find a single bit of evidence that sausage was used. My friend tried the Monte Cristo sandwich which is her favorite and she hada similar reaction. The sandwich was terrible with every ingredient clearly coming out of apackage/can. Nothing about it was homemade from what we could tell. As with me, she left most of it on her plate and refused a carry out box. There aren’t many places that have made me feel totally ripped off after a meal, but this place is one of them.
