One of my favorite places. Middle Way just has good, healthy food, that is still delicious. They even have food to accommodate various dietary restrictions. Middle Way also has a wonderful, cheerful staff, and a great atmosphere. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or just coffee.
This place is AMAZING. Funky atmosphere, fun people, delicious food, gluten free and even vegan options. I am stuffed and so happy. Got the GF Avocado melt with blue corn chips, fried egg, and strawberry chocolate GF cupcake. Heaven!
Surprised by the negative reviews. This is not a full-service restaurant. You order at the counter and it is brought to your table when ready. My favorite place for breakfast. Food is healthy and good. Not supposed to be gourmet. Excellent vegetarian and vegan choices too. Yes it is a meeting place for all kinds of people who enjoy the outdoors and the Alaskan lifestyle.I have never found it to be pretentious.
We enjoy coming here. Glad you can order smaller portion sizes, and the food is good and very reasonably priced. They’re in the middle of the strip center where REI is located. We don’t agree w previous posts about the people. Pleasant place. Service is a little slow but acceptable.
Pretentious hippie crap. Skip it if you are hungry. All about the atmosphere. A social gathering place for those with alternative lifestyles and priorities. Food is lower level. Service is downright bad.
The vibe. Great place to eat! Love the fact that they use organic, local, and fresh ingredients! The salads are amazing and the specials are always on point. The food takes awhile but its understandable because of how busy it always is, Its worth the wait anyway. They sell the food your body wants and I love the atmosphere.
