Awesome Sandwiches and Coffees. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are awesome. Great selection and everything I’ve ordered has been very flavorful and satisfying. Coffees are awesome. Staff are friendly and fun. Portion to value is good. Can be tricky w/ limited parking off 5th Ave. but I’ve always had good luck. Free wifi available. My favorite go to downtown caf. Long live Midnight Sun Caf.
Great Spot. What a cool little spot! We liked it because it reminded us of the little cafes in Europe where you could get a good sandwich and an espresso. Super friendly, good prices too. I had the ham and brie and it was fantastic!
This place is amazing I could eat there 3 times a day 7 days a week. The staff are extremely nice!
I started coming to Midnight Sun when I first moved to Anchorage, and I keep coming back. The staff is very friendly, and they remember my order every time! The coffee blends they use are fantastic, and sometimes a little exotic. The food is also good, better than good, or very good, depending on what you like. I recommend this to everyone I know.
Great atmosphere! Best cafe in town! Hungarian goulash is fantastic!
Good Food. I had the tuna melt. The sandwich was very good, bread was soft and the they put the perfect amountof tuna on top of it.
A convenient snack stop. I like popping in to the Midnight Sun Cafe when I’m downtown, especially at the Fifth Ave Mall. Their staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is funky but welcoming. They always have interesting pieces from local artists up on the walls and bright decor. I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but any fluffy drink I’ve had (Italian Soda) has been good. The cookies are always giant, and delicious also. My boyfriend frequents the place (near his office), and enjoys the breakfast sandwiches, a lot! It seems the National Park Service keeps this place open (right across from the NPS office building). The best advice for you here: go simple. If the soup is chicken noodle or beef-vegetable, go for it. If it’s something a little more ‘out there’ I would stay away. Definitely stop in if you’re looking for a quick snack or drink downtown.
