Mom’s Pho Place. Just had the #16 – Pho tendons and meatballs…sounds kind of off-putting, right? By far the best pho I’ve eaten in Anchorage (anywhere for that matter) Meatballs were pretty good, but the tendons were amazing. After they sit in the broth for a while they become surprisingly tender. I am the type that will usually try something different every time I visit an establishment like this, but I don’t know if I can stray from this dish. I was kind of sketchy about the location, but it is really a nice place. You can tell that the proprietors really care.
Sooo glad we have a place like this in the doon now! Live nearby and I love ordering the yellow curry chicken everytime. I’d love to try other enters but just love the curry to much 😛 10 outta 10 hope this place stays around so I created this account to give y’all good reviews! Love you guys! Stay tasty 🙂
Pho-nomenal. I ordered some pho when I had a cold. It was tasty. Then, ordered some Mongolian beef and more pho the other day. By far the best Mongolian Beef I have ever eaten. I look forward to tasting everything on the menu.
I love their Mongolian Beef, it’s delicious! I think the best I have had in a long time. Food is always hot and about 30-45 minutes delivery!
Yummy. I just had my first order of Pho!! and I am so glad to have had it here, now I’ll be willing to try it again. Mom’s Pho Place is small and next to Tesoro which might put you off at first…. Don’t let it!!!! Super friend staff, clean, and amazing food!!!
Delicious. Dont be put off by location. Very friendly. Had chicken fried rice and an order of chicken green curry both were awesome. My kids were sleeping in the car and the lady even brought the food out to me so i wouldnt have to wake them. Will be returning over and over again.
