Place was packed with locals when we came. Pizza was great and beer was also good. Service is quick and helpful despite the full house. Will definitely visit again when I’m in Anchorage.
Moose’s Tooth pizza is the best pizzeria in Alaska. Great food great people. I love the atmosphere and the location. I have always got hot fresh food and my order was never wrong.
There are so many selections of pizza and so far the beer is amazing. The resting bitter face IPA isn’t as bitter as you would think for a -100 IBU. The Fair Weather IPA was my favorite though.

Their pizza is ok. Nothing great but nothing bad. There are quite a few other places in town with much, much better pizza. Which is about the same I can say about the other dishes I’ve had there – nothing great but nothing bad. Moose’s Tooth is a good place to get lunch but nothing to rave about.What is worth raving about is their homemade rootbeer and cream soda. You don’t mind the average pizza quite so much when you wash it down with these tasty creations. Their sister location, Bear Tooth, has the same pizzas but the rest of their menu far outshines Moose’s Tooth.
Lived in Anchorage for 3.5 years, and Moose’s Tooth has some of the best pizza in the city. Definitely call ahead or face a long line, but hey have an excellent bar for you to enjoy while you wait.
So, so excited to be visiting this place! Moose’s Tooth is one of our favorite places to visit whenever we visit Anchorage! The service is always friendly and although it’s always busy, it doesn’t seem like we’ve ever had to wait long. The pizzas are so different and I really enjoy the changing seasonal beers! You can also ask for whole wheat or gluten free crust which is nice. Tonight, we enjoyed 1/2 and 1/2 pizzas to try even more flavors! The kids are cheesy bread in lieu of cheese pizza, which was super cheesy and gooey. The price is a tad more than what you’d expect, but it doesn’t seem to deter the mass amount of people that are always dining here.
