With a delightful menu, smart decor and great food myThai should be on your lists of restaurants to try or go back to again. Former co-owners of Thai Village are back in business on 4th avenue next door to the big yellow building. I’m thrilled.
Won’t deliver at 8:05pm on a Saturday. Woman who answered phone said they did not have enough people to deliver, had a $30 minimum policy, and it was too close to closing(55minutes). She didn’t even ask about my order. They made it clear they did not want my business.
User reviews. Small Thai run restaurant, interesting menu, good service, reasonable prices. An excellent choice for downtown.
Love this little gem! Great service from a wonderful family. Love the phanaeng curry and pad Thai!
Not good.. Sidewalk noodles/drunken noodles — pretty much the same item. I order these when checking out a new Thai restaurant to judge how good it’s going to be. I wanted to like MyThai — I honestly did but ….. I will not return.Having just returned from a trip down to L.A. where Thai restaurants are numerous I was re-energized to how wonderful good Thai food can be. The noodles I had there were always 2/3 vegetables and meat 1/3 noodles. At MyThai my take out order was about the opposite — mainly starchy, DRY rice noodles some pieces of tough beef, and a minimum of broccoli and other vegetables. Just plain — not good. In fact I am tossing the rest of my meal down the disposal today (unheard of) but I just cannot imagine eating any more of this.IS THERE ANY DECENT THAI FOOD IN ANCHORAGE ? IF SO, I SURE HAVEN’T FOUND IT.Why do the people in this town keep accepting such mediocre restaurants???
Gone to Anchorage!!. Best thing that happened to Eagle River since Shine’s but alas! The owner got a liquor license and moved to 4th Ave. in Anch. The owner is Thai and while in Eagle River she served delicious authentic Thai food. I usually got Plah Kung (spicy shrimp salad) or the delicious Pad Thai.So head down to 4th Ave. for a special occasion.
Fantastic Thai food! Had the veggie fresh rolls, corn cakes, spicy tofu plate, and kang kiew warn. Everything was delicious and flavorful and ready in under 20 minutes. We will be back!
