If I knew it wasn’t great, why bother?. Wanted to test my husband’s year old view of this place being bad. He was correct. It took them about 20 minutes to seat us with only a couple groups of twos ahead of us. Our waitress took about 10 minutes to come to us and another 15 minutes to come back to take our order. The food took 35-40 minutes.I ordered the endless salad which was not offered a refill after both of us ate it pretty quick from being so hungry. She didn’t come back at all until she brought our food in which we asked for refills on our drinks which we never received.Meanwhile the restaurant was so loud and there were groups of screaming children right beside us.When we received our food, my chicken and gnocci was pretty much butter with what looked like uncooked chicken. Needless to say I hardly touched it. It was gross. My husband offered me some of his chicken and lasagna. It was pretty good but tasted as if it had been sitting out for a long while on a heating plate. We had calamari too but there were only a few good pieces. Half the time I bit into a piece it was either a jalapeno or just breaded fried nothing. It took a long time for the restaurant to lower its volume at all. Couldn’t tell whether there was music playing or not but it was so loud that it was driving me nuts.We had a good laugh at the end of dinner where our wait staff decided to show us the best of their attitude when all dinner we hadn’t seen them. They offered to switch out soups for me.We still tipped nicely but it was definitely NOT worth the two hour headache and bad food.

It took 35 minutes to be seated, over an how to get our food and waiter kept forgetting to fill our drinks. He was friendly though and food was good except for they screwed up my kids Mac and cheese from the kids menu and they brought out just Mac at first (ya just dry noodles) then after bringing it to their attention they added cheese. It ended up talking around 2 and a half hours for the whole dining experience to end and they tried making it up to us with a bag of bread sticks to take home which was nice.

Great take out. Never a problem with take out, food is hot and good and order is always right.

Mediocre. Finally got the chance to eat lunch here. We ordered some wine and our glasses were SOOOOO spotty from the dishwasher. The server offered to get clean glasses but then took about 15 minutes to bring them to us. He said it was no easy task finding clean glasses (????)The wine was delicious! The food was just ok. Overly salty breadsticks and very little sauce on the spaghetti. The sausage and green peppers pasta had ugly chunks of undercooked peppers and lots of tomato stems. The salad was pretty awesome!

Eh… Being a Chicago native, and half Italian, I learned to appreciate great Italian home cooked meal, which was one of the things I truly missed when we moved to Alaska.Well, I wouldn’t really call olive garden an authentic Italian joint but a couple of things I had tried before weren’t terrible, rather acceptable. Now the one here in anchorage is a whole different story.I think there was something wrong with the chef that day, it seemed everyone was complaining about their food and returning them back to kitchen.. But my friends tell me it was never that horrible so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Terrible service with absolutely awful food. I could make better pasta at home with a can of Ragu and some 99 cent pasta for 1/5 the price. Hated it. So bad. Never eat here if you know how to boil some water and heat up some tomato sauce at home.

Great and worth the wait.. I went yesterday with my nephew and he was being fussy at the table. The server took his order and returned promptly with our drinks and some breadsticks for him to snack on, and I had a chance to decide what I wanted. I am so glad, they were so helpful. I used to live in flordia and oregon and tried the olive gardens in both those states when my friends wanted to go out and I never have been so impressed but this one is definatly the best quality of them all. It is fairly priced in my opinion, for the service and the food was just great. I have no complaints except they seemed understaffed. I loved the peach bellini beverage… AND Free refills! I would go again in a heart beat.
