So, I like the idea of this place better than the reality. I’m sitting here now, after interrupting the wait staff twice, as they chatted, and shared stuff of cell phones & giggled – truly, it seems like a great place to work … really fun – before service.
It would have been good if I had actually gotten to eat but the waitress didn’t put in my order so I sat there waiting for a long time. Then I asked finally and she went to the cook and asked where my order was and he didn’t know. So then I watched her discuss it with her manager who couldn’t figure out which salmon dish I wanted. So then the manager turned around to the cook told him they really needed my order stat. Like its an emergency room. Then I watched the cook and manager discuss which salmon dish I ordered. And how to fix it. At that point. I left. Typical terrible Alaskan customer service.
This place is a rip off. Large $10 house salad was1/8 full in container. Didn’t fill a paper plate. The small salad was larger. $15 juice had so much garlic we could not drink it. We have this place a few chances. Each time it proved to take advantage of it customers.
Great Healthy Meals. This place is great if you like eating healthy. I got a tofu dish on brown rice with Kombucha to drink. It was a great dinner and I didn’t leave feeling bloated and heavy like I do with most other restauraunts. I was really impressed with the selection of drinks/juices and interesting salad dressing options. While this place may not be for everyone, I really enjoyed the experience and would reccommend it to anyone who is open to the health food movement.
A Place to Be Healthy. My boyfriend and I wanted to try a joint that only serves healthy food. And this was quiet the place to go to! I love how Organic Oasis has different choices in the healthy menu. My boyfriend and I got the Humus, Chicken Sandwich, and a Turkey Sandwich I believe. They were all fine and very light.The only thing I didn’t like about was our waiter was taking forever when the business wasn’t so busy and that it’s a little bit pricy. But considering all the organic ingredients they have to use… than it should be ok! Other than that, this is a place to go and eat a healthy dinner or lunch with a friend. And might I add they have an Organic Bar too! Which I thought it was awesome.
Great Food and Healthy To Boot. Up visiting my daughter from Oklahoma. This was not just healthy, but soooo delicious!!! Natalie was knowledgeable and gracious. I will be back to eat again before I leave for Tulsa! You fine people in Anchorage have a truly wonderful gem in Organic Oasis!
