I went here on the recommendation of a professional peer. A must try. I ordered a BLTA. I shared that with my daughter and we each had a salad. I found the front counter lady to be a bit brusk, but hey, not everyone is made to be on constantly for customer service. I stood there a bit while she tended to some money business and was finally acknowledged about a minute later. A minute isnt a long time, but feels quite lengthy when hungry and excited to try a new place. The sandwich was terribly small, quite heavy on the mayo and the tomato was mealy. I was disappointed I had spent $9 on it. I had to pay for sides since I was informed their sandwiches dont come with sides. The salad was lovely and fluffy. Truly the best part of the experience. Clean and crispy, topped with bright cherry tomato and shavings of cucumber. We sat at the counter and discovered over the course of the meal the overpowering odor in the cafe was a small oil diffuser pumping a scent into the air. It gave me a headache and left me grumpy. Our cashier cleared our dishes and we left, sadly with no desire to return. Between atmosphere and tiny, expensive, sideless sandwiches, I most likely wont make a second trip.
