Food & staff were both outstanding, but I’ve never waited so long for a meal to be served, in spite of the restaurant being mostly empty! After ordering, we waited over 30 minutes for the small plates/appetizers, and another 30-45 minutes for the main course.With that said, the food truly was exceptional. The menu is literally all over the place, but every single item we tried was delicious.I might go back there again just to try some more of the menu, but I’ll clear my schedule for it because I’ll probably be there for hours.
We had some time in Anchorage, ending our vacation from a cruise, to take a flight. We needed good food that did not feel like another buffet or fast food and discovered Pangea, not too far from the Marriott. Loved the Egg’s Benedict, best I have had, and my wife loved the Falafel. Highly recommend this place.
