Not consistent. I ate at the Pho Lena on Boniface weekly last summer, but have been disappointed this summer. I order their stir fry veggies with chicken, medium seasoning. The first time I ordered it was perfect. A week later, the same order was covered in red peppers…much, much hotter than ever. A few days later, I went with other friends and asked for mild with peppers on the side, so the seasoning was OK, but the veggies were nearly raw. I think they must have a different cook this year . I tried the Spenard location last week and it was different, almost a soup, but good.I do love their fresh rolls though and they are consistent. Friends I was with liked their orders.
Funky Pho. I wouldn’t normally write a negative review, but the last two times I’ve ordered the chicken Pho to go it has been unedible. Both times they tasted like there was soap in the broth. At first I thought this was just the bowl I used, but after the second time with a different bowl at a different house, there was no denying it.
We had a great to-go experience. The food was wonderful and the portions huge. And the food was ready when we arrived.
Everytime i come to this place my friends and i would get treated like we’re poor just because we’re asian too. A customer is a customer. I have friends and family who got the same experience. Thats why none of us goes to place anymore.
Bad customer serv e. We got ther got seated and was forgotten. We waited for 15 and they started helping people that got there after us. We didn’t even get water served! We walked out after seing they were helping everyone but us.
I live their food! However, drove past less than an hour ago, saw a sign outside that they deliver. Just called and the guy said they don’t…? I guess they didn’t realize what was in the sign when it was out up.
Great food!. I’m a Laos girl and really appreciate that their is a place I can go to, to get some home made style food. I love their coupount! Even their beef jerky is just like mum makes!
